GTA 6 Game Informer Feature Is Finally Here

Game Informer’s Grand Theft Auto VI feature was written by senior associate editor Marcus Stewart, who spoke with several lead designers at Rockstar Games about how the studio created Leonida and its version of Florida.

The 14-page feature provides a deeper look at areas that Rockstar has previously shown only briefly through trailers, screenshots and promotional material.

Game Informer specifically highlights GTA 6’s advanced weather systems, the huge variety of wildlife across Leonida and Rockstar’s research into Miami and Florida.

For fans following the latest GTA 6 news, the feature provides another important piece of information ahead of the game’s November launch.

12 New GTA 6 Screenshots

One of the biggest reasons GTA 6 fans have been waiting for the Game Informer issue is the collection of 12 new exclusive screenshots.

Game Informer says the images show more of GTA VI’s sights and citizens, giving fans another opportunity to examine Rockstar’s detailed world.

GTA 6 Weather System Gets More Attention

One of the most interesting parts of the Game Informer feature is Rockstar’s discussion of GTA 6’s advanced weather systems.

Game Informer says Rockstar has developed weather systems designed to simulate Florida’s less sunny weather phenomena.

That is particularly interesting because Leonida is heavily inspired by Florida, where changing weather can dramatically alter the atmosphere of an environment.

Rather than simply using weather as visual decoration, Rockstar appears to have spent significant development time making Leonida feel like a living environment.
