GTA 6 Leak: Collector’s Edition Alleged Leaked by Former Packing Employee

GTA 6 Leak: Collector’s Edition Alleged Leaked by Former Packing Employee

A possible GTA 6 Collector’s Edition has reportedly leaked online after an X user claimed to have worked on its packaging in Mexico.

The user, known as @Alexi0982, said they had spent around a month working in packaging production and shared photographs that allegedly show boxes featuring the GTA 6 branding.

The claim has not been confirmed by Rockstar Games, and the original X post has since been deleted. For now, this should be treated as an unverified GTA 6 leak, rather than confirmation that a Collector’s Edition is coming.

Alleged GTA 6 Collector’s Edition Box Appears Online

The images shared by the X user showed a large black box featuring the VI logo alongside the words “Vice City Leonida.”

Another photograph appeared to show multiple boxes stacked inside what looked like a warehouse.

The user claimed these were packaging boxes for a GTA 6 Collector’s Edition and said they had worked on production for approximately one month before leaving the job.

They also shared a photograph of an employee badge showing the name Unique Services Group S.A. de C.V., apparently to support their claim that they had worked at the company.

However, none of this independently confirms that the boxes belong to an official Rockstar product.

Could GTA 6 Include a Collector’s Edition?

Rockstar has not officially announced a GTA 6 Collector’s Edition at the time of writing.

That makes the alleged packaging particularly interesting if the photographs are genuine.

Collector’s Editions are usually designed to include additional physical items, special packaging and other bonuses beyond the standard game release. The size of the alleged box has also attracted attention, with the leaker claiming it was even larger than a standard PS5 game box.

The person also claimed that the inside contained several separate sections.

However, without an official announcement from Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive, there is no way to know exactly what the box was designed to contain

Could There Be a Disc Inside?

One of the more interesting parts of the claim concerns the possibility of a physical GTA 6 disc.

The alleged leaker said they remembered seeing a circular section inside the packaging where a disc could potentially fit.

That led to speculation that a Collector’s Edition could include an actual disc even if standard physical copies of GTA 6 use a different format.

However, the leaker later appeared to back away from the claim, acknowledging that the packaging might not necessarily contain a disc.

So at this stage, there is no evidence that a GTA 6 Collector’s Edition will include a physical disc.

This is an important distinction because fans should not treat the alleged packaging design as proof of the contents.

The Box Could Be More Colourful Inside

Although the leaked images appeared to show a mostly black exterior, the person behind the claim suggested that the inside of the box was more colourful.

That would make sense for a premium GTA 6 package, especially considering the colourful Miami-inspired aesthetic Rockstar has used throughout the game’s marketing.

Still, the exterior photographs alone don’t reveal what might actually be included inside.

There could be physical collectibles, artwork, maps, special editions of the game or completely different items.

Until Rockstar officially reveals the package, all of those possibilities remain speculation.

When Could the Collector’s Edition Be Released?

The alleged leaker also claimed that the boxes were already being distributed to different parts of the world where the product would supposedly be sold.

They reportedly did not know the exact release date.

Interestingly, the user suggested that production could continue until November 2026, raising the possibility that the Collector’s Edition might arrive around or even after the game’s launch.

That claim should also be treated cautiously.

GTA 6 is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, but Rockstar has not announced a Collector’s Edition release window.

If a premium edition is real, Rockstar would likely reveal its contents and availability through its official channels before launch.

The Original Leak Has Been Deleted

The situation became even more difficult to verify after the original X post was deleted.

Before disappearing, however, the post had already been shared and discussed by GTA fans.

The deleted post does not prove the information was false. At the same time, its deletion also means fans should be careful about treating screenshots and reposts as definitive evidence.

The photographs could potentially show genuine GTA 6-related packaging, but there is currently no independent confirmation connecting the boxes to an official Rockstar Collector’s Edition.

Rockstar Has Not Confirmed the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition

For now, the safest conclusion is that a GTA 6 Collector’s Edition is possible but unconfirmed.

The alleged packaging photographs are certainly interesting, particularly because they show what appears to be GTA 6 branding and multiple boxes in a production environment.

But until Rockstar Games or Take-Two officially announces the product, fans should treat this as an alleged leak rather than a confirmed GTA 6 release.

If Rockstar does announce a Collector’s Edition, the company would also be expected to reveal exactly what is included, which platforms will receive it and how much it will cost.

What Happens Next?

With GTA 6 getting closer to its November 19, 2026 release, more information about special editions, pre-orders and launch products could begin appearing.

Whether these photographs are genuine or simply unrelated packaging remains unknown.

For now, the alleged GTA 6 Collector’s Edition leak gives fans another interesting mystery to watch as Rockstar’s marketing campaign continues.
