There are two GTA 6 DualSense designs, giving fans a choice between different styles.
The white version appears to have attracted particularly strong demand, with stock becoming difficult to find while the black version has remained available for preorder through Sony’s official store.
That demand is exactly what scalpers look for.
When an item has limited availability and huge interest from fans, resellers can attempt to purchase stock and then sell it to people who don’t want to wait for another opportunity.

The marketplace has requirements concerning when sellers must be able to ship presold products.
That could make some early resale listings questionable depending on when they were created and when the sellers expect to fulfil the orders.
For buyers, it’s another reason to be careful when purchasing a GTA 6 controller from a third-party seller.
Paying a huge premium doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting the product any sooner.
Should You Buy a GTA 6 DualSense From a Scalper?
Probably not.
If the controller is still available through an official retailer, buying it directly is the safer option.
You know the price, you know where the product is coming from and you don’t have to pay an inflated resale premium.
The bigger risk is that GTA 6’s enormous popularity could make limited accessories increasingly difficult to find as November gets closer.
If you’re interested in one, keeping an eye on official stock could be a much better strategy than immediately paying a reseller.
